KPFF is providing structural engineering services for a new 40-story, 450-ft-tall mixed-use tower featuring 16 stories of residential space consisting of 250 units, with 22 units reserved for low-income residents. Ten stories will be devoted to a 200-room, 4-star hotel with various amenities, including a pool, guest lounge, and fitness center. The project also includes ten parking levels, including two levels below grade. The ground floor will comprise 28,000 SF of retail and restaurant space. The project design utilizes the performance-based seismic design approach to maximize structural efficiency.
